Wetlands aren't just cattails and muck, sometimes it looks like that lighter part of your hay field, the spot the corn is always stunted, or the pasture you just know not to put the cattle on in the spring or fall. How do you know if it is wetland or just a wet spot?  What does it mean if it is a wetland?

Join the Rutland and Poultney Mettowee NRCDs with Zapata Courage, VT DEC District Wetland Ecologist, in the field to learn the basics of how to recognize wetlands in and around farms, and find out what that means for you as a farmer, service provider, or community member!
