Andie grew up in the fields and woodlands across the east coast but found home in Vermont after getting her Bachelor’s in Environmental Science from UVM’s Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources. They love working at the intersection of agriculture, natural resources, and community to support local landowners and municipalities find the best solutions to meet community and ecosystem needs. Andie has worked as a research assistant with the USDA Food Systems Research Unit in Burlington and assisted in conservation programs, administration, and outreach with a land trust in Rhode Island. She also greatly values her experience working on a small diversified vegetable farm and helping in the vegetable beds and apple orchards at the UVM Horticultural Farm. When not planning conservation practices with farmers or restoring ecosystem functions they love hiking, reading, and gardening.
